Cyanide Studio and NACON are pleased to announce that the third season of Blood Bowl 3 begins today. Discover the new features of the Shambling Undead faction, 4 new star players and the unlockable rewards of the Blood Pass! Blood Bowl 3 is available for PC, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
Check out the new faction: the Shambling Undead
Shambling Undead teams are composed of undead creatures and former Blood Bowl players who have perished on the field and – through the art of necromancy – have the chance to start a second career! With their clever mix of slow but powerful players, like Mummies and Zombies, alongside faster but less durable players like Ghouls and Skeletons, the Shambling Undead form a versatile team that any player should be able to score with.
Along with the Shambling Undead team, other innovations appear in the game, including a new field, coach character, cheerleader team and ball. Players can also purchase the teams from Season 1 & 2 separately from the Blood Pass, by the way.
Brief feedback on Season 2 in numbers and anecdotes:
The beginning of season 3 is the perfect time to look back at last season and share some interesting facts and figures. For example, did you know that the three most played factions in the Diamond/Master divisions consisted of the Orcs, Dwarves and Chaos Chosen? And any idea how many games were played, or how many successful passes were made over the course of the season?
