This electric car just set a new world record –

The world’s fastest electric car just proved to be an absolute speed demon, as it managed to go from 0-100 km/h in 0.956 seconds.

The old record stood at 1.46 seconds and was conquered by students in Zurich. Their car weighs 140 kg and there is an electric motor in each wheel that helps it achieve its incredible power. A total of 326 horsepower runs through this machine, making it incredibly fast when you consider its weight and horsepower ratio.

Obviously, this car is not recommended for those who just want a leisurely drive, but it is still impressive how advanced the electric car game gets. Check out the performance in the video below.
