Lego sells braille bricks – – Gamereactor

Lego has announced that after a testing period, it is now actually selling its Braille Bricks. These are pretty much what they sound like, they are Lego bricks with printed letters, numbers and symbols on each brick, all so they are suitable for the visually impaired.

The inclusive effort will launch starting Sept. 1, 2023, in English and French versions only, but Lego has promised to expand to other languages next year, including Spanish, Italian and German.

As for the set that kicks off the Braille Bricks movement, this is the Braille Bricks – Play with Braille set, which is composed of 287 unique bricks in five colors, with each brick designed to be fully compatible with other Lego products and studs. The set also includes two base plates to teach youngsters and those new to Braille Bricks how to orient, attach and stack the bricks themselves.
