The Tekken franchise may grow and evolve, adding new features and mechanics, but one thing is certain: Panda will always find a way to appear in it. Bandai Namco has confirmed that Panda will be playable in Tekken 8. There is no trailer yet, but her profile is on the game’s official roster page.
The description reveals that Panda is looking for Xiaoyu. After learning about Xiaoyu’s dedication to find Jin Kazama, Panda accompanies Xiaoyu on a worldwide journey. Unfortunately, six months have passed and there is no sign of Jin. Nevertheless, Panda remains dedicated to Xiaoyu and her mission, once again using Heihachi-style Kuma Shinken.
What happens next will likely be revealed in Tekken 8’s story, so stay tuned. The fighting game will be released on January 26, 2024 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, with a closed beta test scheduled for October.
