Mobile air conditioning at Aldi: what can it do?

Aldi’s AEG air conditioner is cheap and not bad – but you could save more.

At Aldi is currently the AEG AXP34U338CW for €359 – with 3.4 kW power, remote control, LC display and a dehumidification capacity of up to 1.6 liters per hour, you actually get a relatively powerful device that can cool rooms of up to 50 square meters.

In principle, this is really not a bad offer – but it can also be done better and cheaper at the same time.

Kesser 4in1 air conditioner with 3.5 kW on sale at Amazon

Amazon currently has the Kesser 4in1 air conditioner on offer for only €329, which is €30 cheaper than the AEG from Aldi. At the same time, with 3.5kW, it even offers a bit more power and, according to the manufacturer, even creates rooms of up to 100 square meters. It is therefore also suitable for large living rooms or offices.

A mobile air conditioner with a little more power and a lower price – Amazon has something for you.

The pure air circulation with up to 470 cubic meters per hour is also really impressive.

It also offers everything else that you could wish for from such a mobile air conditioner: digital display, a timer, a remote control, dehumidification and of course a sleep mode for quiet running at night.

Is there a cheaper alternative? There is! And it is also much more energy-efficient than mobile air conditioners, but requires a little bit of work: Water-cooled fans und Kühlakkus also noticeably reduce the room temperature.
