Honda unveils its second all-electric vehicle –

Honda has officially unveiled its next all-electric vehicle, with this being the e: Ny1. As noted in a press release, the car is ready to meet the demands of the EV B-segment SUV space, while at the same time featuring a new design style that will be used on the brand’s future EVs.

The car is also said to have a 68.8 kWh battery that aims to deliver 256 miles of power before needing to be recharged, while still being able to generate 310 Nm of torque. The car even comes with a new chassis built specifically for EVs, one that aims for improved torsional rigidity. To add to this, the car will have a 15.1-inch touchscreen dashboard inside, providing access to a range of infotainment options.

“The e:Ny1 is the logical next step on our electrification journey in Europe,” said Tom Gardner, Senior Vice President at Honda Motor Europe Ltd. “Our development philosophy combines intelligent, customer-focused technology with stunning design and driving pleasure. This latest SUV exemplifies Honda’s commitment to electrification and is the latest step on Honda’s electrification journey.”

There is no mention of when the e: Ny1 will make its debut or the price points at which it will sell.
