Ahead of the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on May 12, players who purchased the digital edition of the game can now begin pre-loading the game 6 days before its release date. According to GameSpot, the pre-load has a size of about 16.2GB.
According to Twitter user @PhantomxKairi, if pre-loading has not yet begun for you, you can cancel your pre-order and re-order, making the download available.
Nintendo has also announced a livestream to celebrate the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The livestream, scheduled for May 11, will feature gameplay from the upcoming game.
Excitement surrounding the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is pretty high, especially considering the previews that went online last month showing gameplay of the Sky Islands portion of the game. The previews also gave us a look at the various tools Link will have access to in the game.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released on May 12 and will be available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
