In preparation for the release of Darkest Dungeon 2 on May 8, developer and publisher Red Hook Studios has released a launch trailer for the game. Check out the new trailer below.
Although the trailer features a narrator focusing on the setting and story of Darkest Dungeon 2, the trailer actually shows a lot of gameplay of different aspects of the upcoming RPG title.
The launch trailer gives us a glimpse of the Darkest Dungeon 2 combat experience, as well as how the on-rails roguelite exploration works and how players should manage their caravan of potential heroes.
In March, Darkest Dungeon 2 received its latest update as part of the early access period. The update, titled Redemption Road, made changes to the game’s map tracking system and also introduced pets to the game.
If the May 8 release still seems too far away for you, Darkest Dungeon 2 is available as an early access title on the Epic Games Store. The game’s Steam release will coincide with its exit from early access.
