Survivor developer Respawn busy dealing with the issues – That’s Gaming

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been released for PC and current-generation consoles and, although the game has been generally praised by critics, it did not launch without problems. Indeed, it seems to have been released in a less-than-optimal technical state and PC players in particular seem to be at fault with a sub-standard port.

In a recent statement published on Twitter, developer Respawn Entertainment acknowledged the game’s technical issues on PC, saying, “We are aware that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is not up to our standards for a percentage of PC players, particularly those with high-end machines or certain specific configurations.”

Respawn says it is in the process of developing fixes to address the game’s technical issues, but suggests that players should be patient while they wait for patches, as each patch must be thoroughly tested to ensure no new issues with the game arise.

“There is no single all-encompassing fix for performance on the PC, but the team is working on fixes that we believe will improve performance across a wide range of configurations,” the developer writes. “We are committed to fixing these issues as soon as possible, but each patch requires thorough testing to ensure that we are not introducing new problems.”

Recently, Respawn also confirmed that they will release multiple patches for the game to address the major issues.
