Xiaomi launches Redmi Watch 3 for global markets

Equipped with an OLED screen, GPS connectivity and Bluetooth calling function, the Redmi Watch 3 could be an interesting choice at a price of €119.

Announced for the Chinese market as early as December, the Redmi Watch 3 mimics the Apple Watch design quite well and comes with competitive features at a much more attractive price. The gadget launched under the Redmi brand features a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with no less than 200 selectable watch faces. The rectangular-shaped screen comes with corners cut to the contours of a finished metal casing for a high-gloss look, matched with the matte finish of the removable rubber strap.

The Redmi Watch 3 can use satellites from any of the five supported GPS positioning networks and supports 121 sport modes, six of which can be automatically recognised and selected based on activity. The waterproof construction is certified for submersion in water up to 50 metres deep, while also providing protection against dust. The list of features is completed with built-in speaker and microphone system with background noise cancellation function.
