OnePlus 10T now available in “Avengers” version

Special edition phones are starting to appear more and more often, with manufacturing companies partnering with various video game or movie studios to offer special bundles with extra accessories and various collectibles dedicated to fans of both brands. The OnePlus 10T, the Chinese manufacturer’s latest high-end model, will soon get a new special bundle decorated with elements from Marvel’s Avengers franchise.

OnePlus 10T gets a limited edition

Unlike other special bundles, the dedicated OnePlus 10T isn’t more expensive than the phone normally. It has been spotted on Disney’s official store in India, where it costs the equivalent of US$670 in the 16+256GB configuration, which is the best performing of the offering.

In the box is the phone in black, not in a special colour. It does, however, come with a special Avengers pouch in the package inspired by Iron Man’s suit, a PopSocket with Captain America’s shield and a Black Panther-inspired desk stand. It’s unclear why the Avengers brand was chosen for the partnership and not one of Marvel’s recent movies like Black Panther 2, but collectors of such products certainly won’t mind.

It’s unclear how limited this edition is though, but stocks generally sell out quickly.

Choosing a OnePlus 10T at a regular price and with a host of exclusive accessories isn’t exactly a bad idea at the end of 2022. The OnePlus 11 will certainly be a significantly more expensive model, and the only significant advantage would be the Hassleblad-branded main camera and the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which might offer insignificant extra performance in real-world use.

Unfortunately, the phone is only sold in this edition in India at the moment, so it’s unclear if we’ll see it in local stores.
