760 billion SHIB on the move, SHIB back in top 10 whale holdings

Meanwhile, interest in the coin from the top 100 Ethereum whales seems to have returned as SHIB is back on the top 10 list of crypto-currency holdings.

Nearly 800 billion SHIB transferred

According to Etherscan, about 20 hours ago, a total of 760 billion SHIB were transferred in two tranches, along with a few much smaller transactions, each carrying 50 billion meme coins.

The largest transaction, involving 419,497,861,322 SHIB was transferred by the Binance exchange between its own portfolios. This was most likely done as part of CZ’s suggested proof-of-reserves audit of Binance itself and other crypto-currency exchanges after the founder of crypto-currency giant FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried, filed for insolvency in the early days of November.

The second transaction, 339,397,509,444 SHIB was moved from one anonymous wallet to another. The sender’s wallet is now empty of SHIB tokens, while the recipient’s address contains only the SHIB obtained in the above transaction. This could be a sale or a transfer of funds to a new wallet.

Top ETH whales buy 7.7 trillion SHIB

According to wallet tracking service WhaleStats, in the last 24 hours, the situation for Shiba Inu and the top 100 wallets on the Ethereum blockchain has changed dramatically.

If for the past three days SHIB was neither in the top 10 nor in the top 20 assets held by these whales, today it is back in fifth place after Ethereum, USDT, USDC and stETH.

At the time of writing this article, these largest whales on ETH hold $70,346,254 in crypto memes. That’s the equivalent of a whopping 7,730,357,582,417 Shiba Inu.
