Honor announced Magic OS 7.0 based on Android 13. When does your phone get the update

Along with its new smartphones, the Magic Vs and Honor 80, Honor is also announcing the new Magic OS 7.0. It is based on Android 13 and will ship on many of the company’s recent smartphone models. Of course, new phones get this OS out of the box. As expected, however, it doesn’t include much new in the way of capabilities.

Since Huawei’s Magic OS and EMUI were once basically related, many of the concepts are present on both companies’ phones, still. For example, Multi-Device functionality, which can create Super Devices, is also present on Magic OS 7 under the name MagicRing.

Next, Honor integrates a new proprietary virtual assistant, YoYo assistant, and features like we’ve seen on other devices, such as the ability to copy text from photos. Honor also integrated something called Turbo X, a smart system that optimizes performance, power consumption, and ensures the best signal for WiFi and 5G antennas.

If you already have an Honor smartphone, here’s when it will get this update to Magic OS 7.0
