Motorola razr 2022 officially launched for the European market

Motorola razr 2022, the third foldable model in the series, comes with significant changes, both in terms of exterior design and the way it is built. It looks like Motorola took inspiration mainly from rival Samsung for the new flip phone.

The Razr 2022 has a minimalist, compact, matte and sleek design. The 2.7-inch Quick View interactive display keeps the user connected so they can view notifications, read and send messages, take photos, make payments and more, all without having to open the phone. The Motorola razr 2022 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ P-OLED main display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. The P-OLED display can render over a billion shades. In addition, with HDR10+ certification and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, the new razr presents itself as an ideal phone for entertainment and movie watching.

While the first two generations of the phone had a foldable screen that also slid a little when folded and unfolded, the company now uses a slightly more versatile system. Although, the only movable thing in the Razr 2022 is the hinge, it differs in that it allows the screen to open in multiple positions. The original Razr only had two positions: folded and unfolded.

Because interior space is very limited, pretty much all the internal components are stacked, with a sandwich-like base plate, as we see on other recent flagships.

The battery is divided into two separate cells. At the bottom of the phone we find a 2,788 mAh Li-ion cell, and at the top we find another 712 mAh cell, in total the phone offers 3,500 mAh, more than previous Razr models, but less than the new Galaxy Z Flip4 with its 3,700 mAh battery.

Cooling the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor is also important, and Motorola has integrated more copper elements to help dissipate heat in use.
