Women’s event, The Milk Cup, returns in 2025

The Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP) has announced the return of its women’s Fortnite tournament, The Milk Cup. As part of its expansion to 2025, the company has also created The Milk Cup Academy, a training and mentoring program for female Fortnite players.

The Milk Cup was first introduced in April last year to provide more women with the tools, resources and opportunities to thrive in eSports. According to a press release, The Milk Cup was the first tournament in which more than 60% of last year’s female competitors participated.

For its 2025 edition, the initiative is expanding with a prize pool of $300,000, up from $250,000 last year. In addition, the competition will feature a duos format based on community feedback. The cup will be divided into three qualifying heats in April, June and August, leading up to the finals at the end of the year. To increase the visibility of women in eSports, the matches will be streamed live on MilkPEP’s “Gonna Need Milk” Twitch channel. Registration is now open through the dedicated website, and players of all levels are encouraged to sign up.

Like last year, the Milk Cup is being organized in partnership with several sponsors. The Milk Cup co-founder and Fortnite streamer “ThePeachCobbler” will return as a coach, while the all-female RaidiantGG production team will once again be in charge of event production. In addition, Moonrock will provide program advisors through partners and sponsorships.

One of the biggest changes ahead of Milk Cup 2025 is the introduction of. The Milk Cup Academy. The Fortnite program will offer training and mentoring opportunities, including coaching by professionals, competitive training and scrims, as well as wellness and performance support. Academy participants will also have access to exclusive reward opportunities throughout their training.
