Simply put the console in your pocketis not a good idea. That is why there are all sorts of tag bags and other accessories for the console.

We show you what you should pay attention to and which accessories are worth.

Nintendo has redeemed the promise for more internal memory at Switch 2: You can claim around 256 GB for yourself. But they are used up with a few AAA titles.

So sooner or later you will probably use a memory expansion. In this case, Switch 2 only takes MicroSD express cards. They have advantages over conventional microSD cards:

• Storage capacity of up to 1 TB and more
• Faster reading and writing speed
• Downward compatible with microSD

You can get MicroSD Express cards from all sorts of manufacturers such as Samsung, Sandisk and Lexar. They are available in the memory sizes:

• 128 GB
• 256 GB
• 512 GB
• 1 TBye

You should pay attention to this: The most important thing is that you do not buy a conventional microSD card, but explicitly make sure that it is the express version. The Nintendo Switch 2 can read out any brand, so you don’t have to pay attention to Super Mario on the packaging.

Also keep in mind that the costs with greater capacity increase exponentially. The 256 GB variant from Samsung costs just under 60 euros in the Nintendo shop. If you speculate on 1 TB variant, you put 380 euros on the counter at Lexar, for example.

The joy-cons of the consoles have become larger and more handy, according to our test. In terms of functionality, however, they have remained quite similar to the predecessor.

A valid alternative has always been Nintendo’s in -house pro controller – And that remains the case with the new iteration for Switch 2. At first glance, the old and new version look right away, but don’t deceive yourself. The devil is in detail.

• The C-button for the gam chat has been added.
• The top got a gray coat of paint.
• A matt finish feels higher.
• The joysticks are much quieter, just like the hub of the A, B, X and Y buttons.
• The handles are subtly narrow and have a slightly narrower angle.
• There are now two programmable buttons on the back of the handles: GL and Gr.
• A jack connection allows the connection of headsets via cable.

You should pay attention to this: Basically nothing. At most, it should be mentioned that the new Pro Controller costs 20 euros more than the old one, i.e. around 90 euros.
