VALORANT updates the 2025 Game Changers Championship seat allocations

With the VALORANT Game Changers ecosystem in full swing, Riot Games has revealed some notable changes to the standings for its end-of-season world championship. The VALORANT Women’s Circuit will now group Brazil, North America and LATAM. into a new Americas region, which will result in changes to the allocation of places for the 2025 Game Changers Championship.

The total number of seats available for the championship will remain at ten. EMEA will receive three, the Pacific will win two, and China will compete for one. square. The region of the Americas will fight for the four remaining places.

While the Americas will qualify as a single group, there will still be regional leagues in North America, Brazil and LATAM to crown a separate representative. The final team, however, will be decided through a new Game Changers Americas Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) event.

The event, to be held at Riot Games’ São Paulo studio, will feature the second-place teams from Brazil, LATAM and North America. After a single round-robin stage on the first day, the top two teams will face off in a best-of-five series to claim the region’s final spot in the Game Changers Championship.

The change in slot allocation has given LATAM and Brazil the opportunity to have two teams in this year’s Game Changers Championship. Previously, these two regions could only qualify one team for the event. On the other hand, the North American representatives were selected through circuit points and by winning Series 3.
