Ultimate Gaming Championships launches worldwide CS2 tournament with a $1M prize pool

Ultimate Gaming Championships (UGC) y Global Domination Events (GDE) have introduced a worldwide Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament. Named Global Domination: InvasionThe event, open to players from around the world, will feature a $1M prize pool at its LAN finals in August.

Global Domination: Invasion is open to “individual players and teams of any level”. In addition to teams and amateur players, the event is also open to professional teams. Starting June 17, the event will consist of several phases, which will begin with regional online clashes in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

The top teams from each region will advance to the Territorial Finals, which will take place in July, with $100,000 at stake for each region. The top finishers will win a paid trip to the in-person Championship, which will be held at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City from August 29-31. The grand finale of the event will take place during the BLAST Open Fall 2025, which will be held Aug. 27-Sept. 7.

Aiming to become an esports extravaganza, the three-day live finals at the Paycom Center will feature hardware provided by AMD and performances by bands contracted by the event’s producer, Mammoth Live.

For all CS2 players and teams who know they have the skills to compete at the highest level, this is your chance to prove it. To all fans of live esports, come to the Paycom Center this August to experience all the excitement and unforgettable moments of competitive gaming at its finest, along with three days of incredible live entertainment.
