The First Descendant developer releases schedule for Season 1: Invasion – That’s Gaming

Magnum Studio has released details about the first season of The First Descendant, called Invasion, which will go live for all players on Aug. 29. However, after mixed reactions from the community about splitting it into three updates, producer Lee Beom-jun has confirmed that there will only be two updates.

As a result, the first update will be available on Aug. 29 along with the launch of the season, while the second will go live on Oct. 10. The previously planned third update will now be merged with the second.

“The previous schedule was originally planned to provide consistent updates every month, prior to each content release. However, I must admit that I have not fully met your expectations,” Beom-jun said. He also noted that the team is “exploring update methods” for upcoming seasons.

The developer has been continuously working on patches and hotfixes since the free shooter launched in July. They are now looking at “various measures and methods, such as reorganizing the development process and even actively recruiting additional staff. We will do our best to prepare better updates that will satisfy you.”
