Title Update 5 comes out tomorrow for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak players on PC and Nintendo Switch. Xbox and PlayStation players will have to wait until summer 2023 to fight enemies such as Amatsu and Risen Shagaru Magala. But it’s not the last update for the hunting game.
At the end of the latest digital event, Capcom confirmed that the final additional monster will be added in June as part of a Bonus Update. This will be a new variant monster. Based on the roadmap image, it could be a variant of Malzeno, the Elder Dragon introduced in Sunbreak as part of the Three Lords.
Time will tell, but expect it to be the most difficult challenge the expansion has to offer. This is saying something, considering how terrifying Flaming Espinas, Velkhana, Chaotic Gore Magala and other monsters have been.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be available April 28 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5. Those platforms will have access to all content through Title Update 3. Stay tuned for more details on other updates in the coming months.
