Star Rail version 1.6 goes live on Dec. 27 – That’s Gaming

miHoYo has announced that the next major update to Honkai: Star Rail, Version 1.6, “Crown of the Mundane and Divine,” will go live on Dec. 27. It adds two new five-star characters – Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio – and a new four-star character, Xueyi. Watch the trailer below.

The update sees a new area in Herta Space Station, the Seclusion Zone, open with a prototype Swarm King as a boss fight. The simulated universe sees an update in Gold and Gears, which simulates Nous and includes the Path of Erudition. This time, you get a die that can equip up to six Dice Face effects, with new ones unlocked via Trailblaze Secrets.

As if that wasn’t enough, new stages for the Forgotten Hall, Pure Fiction, the Critter Pick Scavenging event (which involves raising several small creatures) and quality improvements will also be added. Stay tuned for more details on Version 1.6 as we get closer to release.
