Skyrim’s grandmother stops making game videos – The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

While she shot to stardom years ago as she retired due to a love of gaming, specifically The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, 88-year-old Shirley Curry, also known as Skyrim Grandma, is stopping making video game content.

In a new video on her YouTube channel, she reveals that she is done with this type of content creation and is tired of the responsibility that comes with content creation.

Curry says: “I’m old and I’m tired…. And I don’t feel like doing much anymore. So, anyway, where does that lead…. I’m not going to record any more gameplays.”

She continued: “It seems like I spend most of my time here at this computer. And lately… I walk in here, look at my computer and think, ‘I have to make a video today.’ And then I just shake my head at myself and say, ‘I don’t want to, I don’t feel like it.’ And I turn around and walk out again.”

Curry adds: “It’s not fun anymore. I’m tired of it. I’m bored with it, bored to death with it. So I’m now making the decision – completely, definitively – that I’m not going to make and upload any more game videos.”
