Santa’s post office gets the Lego Icons treatment -.

Lego sets with a vacation theme have always puzzled me a bit, because surely you don’t want to put the set on display and keep it for the 10-11 months that most people don’t consider the holiday season? Anyway, there are a few Lego sets for the holidays and a new one is also scheduled to launch next week.

This is the Icons Santa’s Post Office Set, which, as the name suggests, is a close-up look at the mythical mail department at the North Pole. It is a 1,440-piece set measuring 21 cm high, 28 cm wide and 10 cm long, comes with a minifigure of Santa and four elves, a cozy fireplace, a mail sorting room, a coffee maker, a hot air balloon with a burning burner and also a Christmas tree.

The set costs $99.99 / £89.99 / €99.99 and will be launched on Oct. 4 for all Lego fans. Will you treat yourself to this vacation set?
