The Roobet Cup is back and more ambitious than ever. Scheduled for October 13-22, the 2025 edition will feature 20 CS2 elite teams and a record $1M prize pool, making it the most prestigious Roobet Cup to date.
Unlike previous editions, which featured a prize pool of $250,000, this year’s edition
marks a significant breakthrough for the tournament, consolidating the Roobet Cup as a leading force
in the Counter-Strike competitive scene.
This year’s format introduces important new features to raise the competitive level even higher:
- 18 teams will be invited directly, based on their position in the VRS Europe ranking, starting from the number 1 position.
- 2 additional teams will receive special invitations (wildcards). Each will come from one of the partner tournaments; one of them is FiReLEAGUE Buenos Aires 2025, which will be held on May 2 and will offer the best Latin American teams the opportunity to participate in the Roobet Cup with a $1M prize.
- The entire event will be held online, based in the European region.
- There will be no open qualifiers.
- The tournament format will include 4 best-of-three (Bo3) double elimination brackets, followed by Bo3 single elimination playoffs, concluding with a best-of-five (Bo5) grand final.
- The $1M prize money will be distributed among all participating teams (exact breakdown to be announced soon).
