Resident Evil Survival Unit now available – That’s Gaming

Aniplex Inc. has announced the worldwide release of Resident Evil Survival Unit, a new mobile strategy spinoff that will work with JOYCITY Corporation has been developed. The game is now available at iOS and Android at 151 countries, with more regions to follow later.

Based on Capcom’s iconic Resident Evil-franchise, Resident Evil Survival Unit combines the accessibility of mobile gaming with the depth of real-time strategy. Players build bases, collect resources and take on a variety of bio-organic monsters in a collapsed city.

The game is set in a parallel universe within the Resident Evil worldview and includes a complete original story. Well-known characters such as Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield and Jill Valentine return and can be used in unique team combinations – combinations never before possible in the main series.

In addition to single player missions and puzzle-like survival challenges, players can form alliances and strategize together, making for an intense, tactical survival experience.

A notable contribution comes from the world-renowned artist Yoshitaka Amano, who especially for the game created the new creature “Mortem” designed. Mortem symbolizes invisible fear and existential threat, adding another ominous layer to the game world.

In honor of its worldwide launch, Aniplex has released a new trailer that focuses on the destroyed city, strategic gameplay and menacing atmosphere.
