PAC-MAN lands in Malaga with a giant figure and an interactive experience with OXO Video Game Museum

PAC-MANone of the most iconic and universal characters in the history of videogames, arrives at the Vialia Málaga shopping center with a giant figure that will not go unnoticed by retro video game lovers. The installation is part of an action carried out between Bandai Namco y OXO Videogame Museum Malaga, with the collaboration of Centro Comercial Vialia Málaga, as part of the national tribute celebrated by the 45th anniversary of the mythical PAC-MAN.

Along with the figure, visitors will find a interactive game boothwhere they will be able to participate in raffles and win exclusive prizes and discounts to visit OXO Museo del Videojuego Málaga. To participate, all you have to do is present a minimum purchase ticket of 10 euros from any establishment in the shopping center.

This action in Malaga extends the scope of the collaboration announced last month between Bandai Namco and OXO Museum, on the occasion of the anniversary of PAC-MAN, through a series of commemorative initiatives, among which highlights the exhibition tribute that PAC-MAN receives in OXO Museo del Videojuego Madrid with original pieces, unpublished materials and a setting that reviews its cultural and social influence from 1980 until today.

Now, it also seeks to involve the Malaga public through an experiential activation in one of the busiest commercial spaces in the city. The figure and the game booth will be available for limited timeallowing visitors to live firsthand a unique experience linked to the PAC-MAN universe, while discovering everything that OXO Video Game Museum has prepared this summer.

We wanted the tribute to PAC-MAN to be held not only in a museum environment, but also in everyday places, nearby, where his legend was born: the streets, the arcades, the city centers. Malaga deserved its own meeting point with the character.
