So far, many sun worshipers and those willing to vacation have let the summer this year down. Almost the entire July was drowned in the rainwater and August started with a oppressive heat wave, which many lured into the shade rather than on the sun lounger.

Now August is also changing into an autumn atmosphere in many parts of Germany. No wonder that some are now thinking about using the late summer or autumn for excursions, travel or vacation.

We from the Tech team will now be happy for a few days off after Gamescom and the IFA 2025 upcoming in early September.

Duy Linh Dinh: Although I like to play on big handhelds such as the Lenovo Legion Go or the MSI Claw 8 AI+, I rarely leave the house with them.

I play less frequently on the way or when traveling, and a small handheld like the Ayaneo Pocket DMG is enough for me anyway. In contrast to Steam Deck and Co., the Gameboy clone even fits into its pocket.

Once across Sunkissed City: Ex-developer of Stardew Valley shows his new life simulation

The Ayaneo Pocket DMG runs with Android and has a really nice OLED display. The image format fits perfectly with older games and some Android games, such as Stardew Valley, even support a real full screen mode.

The built -in hardware is very fast, but also a little overkill for such a device – that only drives the price up unnecessarily.
