Organize a trip to the stars with Lego’s new Shuttle Carrier Aircraft -.

Lego has given a glimpse of an all-new set that will be part of the Icons -assortment. Known as the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, and it is a 2,417-piece set that depicts a Boeing 747 aircraft with a NASA Space Shuttle Enterprise ship mounted on it, this being an earlier method used to get spacecraft into orbit.

We are told that this set comes with a landing gear with 18 wheels, a specialized mounting system, an elegant fuselage design, an attachable tail, engines and landing gear for the Shuttle, all while allowing you to mount the entire set on a stand that comes with an informative plaque.

The set debuts May 18 for everyone and from May 15 for Lego Insiders, and costs €229.99 / $199.99 / £229.99.
