Lotus announces record-breaking first half of 2023, driven by EV sales -.

Lotus was once a very iconic car brand, but after years (or rather decades) of lackluster vehicles, the car company fell off the radar. The electric vehicle movement has been fortunate for Lotus, as it has announced and designed a collection of vehicles that are drawing people back to the brand, and this is proven by the latest financial information.

Lotus has stated that it has had its best opening half of the year ever, all thanks to the mega numbers of electric vehicles that have been ordered. In particular, Lotus notes that 17,000 Eletre SUVs and Emira sports cars have been ordered, totaling a 381% increase in Emira orders, leaving the car completely out of stock for the next two years.

The car company also adds that Eletre orders will start later this summer for the UK and Europe.
