There’s no shortage of reasons why Lies of P caused such a stir prior to launch, and one of them has made more than a few people look up, namely its dark and gothic interpretation of Pinocchio’s world. That has been on full display in everything we’ve seen so far, and in newly released gameplay for the Bloodborne-inspired Soulslike action-RPG, that remains the case.
Neowiz has revealed seven new minutes of gameplay for Lies of P, focusing almost entirely on one location – Lorenzini Arcade, once one of the best entertainment centers in the city of Krat, but now in terrible state of disrepair like the city itself. In addition to showing the inside of the arcade itself, the gameplay footage also showcases numerous terrifying new enemy types, various weapons and, of course, lots of combat. Check it out below.
Lies of P will be released on September 19 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC. A demo is currently available on Steam, but it will be taken offline on September 5.
