Lenovoone of the world’s leading brands in technology, together with PhotoRacerTV and from the hand of Intelone of the most influential content creators of simracing in Spain, announce the launch of the Legion Challenge by Lenovo ft PhotoRacerTVa simracing tournament that seeks to revolutionize the competitive landscape with an immersive and professional iRacing experience.
The tournamentwhich will be held from September 20 to 26will feature Superformula cars and will be held at two of the most legendary circuits in motorsport: Spa-Francorchamps y Suzuka. The competition will be open exclusively to residents in Spain and Andorra and will distribute a total of 1.000€ in prizesin addition to a 27-inch Lenovo monitor to be raffled among participants in the Lenovo Legion forum thread.
Tournament Format
The Legion Challenge by Lenovo will be divided into three phases:
- Pre-qualification (September 20-22): Event in which pilots will be able to set their times to qualify among the 50 fastest.
- Semifinals (September 24 and 25): 25 drivers in each semi-final, racing a total of 12-15 laps at Spa-Francorchamps.
- Final (September 26): The top 20 drivers will battle it out on the iconic circuit of Suzukawhere the winners of the cash prizes and Lenovo products will be decided.
All races will feature a fixed setup to ensure a level playing field among participants, in addition to a predefined climatology to eliminate any external variables.
