Lamborghini is hosting an event in a few weeks where it is expected to unveil its first hybrid super sports car. But before that date, the automaker has unveiled two new cars it is releasing, both designed to mark and celebrate the end of the V12 era.
The first car is known as the Invencible and is a coupe, while the second is called the Auténtica and is a roadster. Both are said to be styled and pay homage to a variety of Lamborghini’s cars, including those of the Sesto Elemento, Reventón and the Veneno.
As you would expect for cars that pay homage to the V12 era, each car is made using the V12 platform and is the last time Lamborghini fits a car with a 12-cylinder 6.5-liter engine. Each vehicle also has a seven-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive and has enough power under the hood to deliver 720 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm.
