Kia presents a trio of new EVs at CES 2024 -.

Kia has announced its presence at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, attending the major technology conference and showing off a number of new electric vehicles it has in development. All of these new cars are part of the PV family and come in different shapes and sizes with the intention that each will serve a unique purpose.

The smallest of the bunch is known as the PV1 and is designed to handle short distances and is described as a competitor to small city cars.
The PV5 is a more customizable vehicle that can come in one of three variants: Basic, High Roof and Van. This EV looks to be the most popular of the bunch and is supposed to have dimensions and size similar to a typical van.

Finally, there is the heavy-duty model known as the PV7. This has the largest driving range and has the most space to store gear and everything you need to carry in it. It appears to be longer than the PV5, but about the same height as the middle model.

Each of the cars is scheduled to go into production and debut around the world next year.

For those wondering what PV actually stands for, it is said to mean Platform Beyond Vehicle, and will serve as the basis for Kia’s new modular vehicle strategy in the future.
