Kaiju Cleanup confirms full 2-4 player co-op at launch in 2026 – That’s Gaming

Kaiju Cleanup, the monstrous cleanup sim from Brightrock Games and publisher Mythwright, will get full online co-op for 2 to 4 players upon release in 2026. The game revolves around one simple but delightfully bizarre concept: giant Kaiju are defeated, and you and your team get to clean up the battlefield. Solo you can do that too, but of course the chaos becomes much more fun when you do it with friends.

The entire campaign is playable together. You trek through disaster zones to cut up huge carcasses, clean up dangerous debris and brush away radioactive junk. You can detox as a duo, wade through intestines with three, or try with four to avoid slipping into something that was once a monster. Meanwhile, you’ll have to dodge radioactive hotspots and, above all, avoid accidentally taking out a friend, as that will only result in additional cleanup work.

According to Mythwright, co-op was by far the most requested feature since its announcement in September. With now more than 130,000 wishlists, players clearly seem to be hungry for this strange but relaxing cleaning adventure.

Brightrock Games describes Kaiju Cleanup as a relaxing, almost meditative sim in which you get to clean up after Kaiju battles as if you were a giant city cleaner. From carefully filleting carcasses to getting rid of sticky messes, everything revolves around the satisfaction of leaving a disaster area tidy again.
