Just weeks after launch, Peak hugs are on the way

The multiplayer climbing title Peak from Landfall Games and Aggro Crab Games came virtually out of nowhere and has turned out to be one of June’s most popular releases. The game has already drawn millions of players, and as Landfall and Aggro Crab respond to the strong response, they are working to give fans more of Peak, both inside and outside the game.

As announced in a Steam blog post, Peak hugs are on the way. There is one designed after the creature Bing Bong, a stuffed toy you can find in the game (and gain an achievement by taking him to the top of the mountain). There is also an explorer cuddly toy on the way, modeled after one of the in-game characters you play as when you make your way to the Peak.

Both hugs have reached their pledge goals on Makeship, although at the time of writing Bing Bong’s hug is much more popular with over 1,500 donors, compared to Scout’s 300+. Still, both products will be made, and there is still more than a week to support the projects if you want to get your own Peak hug.
