Apple’s anticipated VR headset could not only arrive soon, but possibly with a new operating system.
The new operating system is known as xrOS and was first discovered in the Jamaican registry database. It is not known if a Pro version of this OS will be unveiled, but it could also be that it has nothing to do with the new headset and is instead something the company wants to keep for future use.
Although, given Apple plans to have a huge showcase at WWDC, with rumors suggesting it is showing its first foray into the metaverse, we could see the new operating system here as well.
Apple’s new headset is believed to combine augmented reality with virtual reality, and could define Tim Cook’s term as CEO.
Looking forward to an Apple headset?
