In my opinion, a good gaming PC is fundamentally superior to a console, but that’s not because of the input device: I also regularly and happily use the controller on the PC, for games that simply work better with it (not shooters!) or when I’m want to sit back and relax and enjoy the show. A wireless controller with Bluetooth for PC, console & mobile

Bluetooth is particularly important to me on my controllers. The Xbox controller now also has a Bluetooth function, making it possible connecting to my smartphone or my Steam Deck. This means I can play titles like Dead Cells on my phone almost without compromise and connect my beloved deck to a monitor or television so I can continue playing from the comfort of my couch.

Most of the time, however, I use the controller on the PC for games in which controlling with a controller simply feels better than with a mouse and keyboard. This does not mean shooters that give controller players unfair aiming assistants in order to be able to keep up with the superior mouse. Instead, I like to play representatives of the Bulletheaven genre or various co-op titles with a controller, so that I can sit back and relax.

I can charge four of them in the included charger and ALWAYS have charged batteries on hand, which means I can really use the controller never use wired must. If one of the controllers is empty, I simply replace the batteries and continue playing – no charging cable necessary!

Design & feel – flawless despite large hands

As mentioned, I swear by Microsoft’s classic Xbox controller, whose basic design dates back to the Xbox One. It fits my hands very well, even though I have fairly large hands. Even after hours of gaming, I don’t feel any signs of fatigue or even cramps from holding the controller.

The concave analog sticks with the profiled edges offer my fingers good grip even in heated situations. The triggers have a nice even resistance and the shoulder buttons have a nice click.

Compatibility with games – are there any problems?

No. Never existed. Steam is excellent at recognizing controllers of any kind and processing their input. And the Xbox controller from Windows publisher Microsoft is really nothing unusual on a Windows computer – on the contrary: the various buttons on the controller can even control some Windows features like the Game Bar.
