Golden Globes 2023 – full list of winners, led by The Fabelmans and The Banshees of Inisherin

Hollywood’s awards season kicked off last night with the 2023 Golden Globes. On that occasion, we also found out the frontrunners for the Oscars, which will be announced in a few months.

In case you’re curious about the best films of the year, it’s worth noting that, according to the Golden Globes judges, The Fabelmans and The Banshees of Inisherin. The former is a Steven Spielberg autobiography, while the latter is a tragicomedy starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, directed by Martin McDonagh, the same team behind the classic In Bruges.

Add to this the Cecil B DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award, received by Eddie Murphy. On that occasion, the comedian offered some advice for any newcomer to the industry. “Pay your taxes, mind your own business, and don’t say Will Smith’s damn wife’s name!”. Another lifetime achievement award, entitled Carol Burnett was received by Ryan Murphy.
