The esports club GIANTX has presented the team with which he is going to compete in the League of Legends Super Leaguethe most relevant esports competition in Spain, organized by the Professional Video Game League (LVP). The quintet chosen for the LoL national league is composed of Feisty and Aetinothwho continue for another year, and Badlulu, Lospa and Ferretwho join a roster that will be managed by an old acquaintance of the organization, the coach Fearlesswho already knows what it’s like to win titles with the giants. GIANTX Pride, which is the name of the League of Legends team that competes at the national level, has unveiled its squad at an event that took place at the Home of GIANTX in Malaga and which has counted with the special participation of Opelpartner of the organization and main ally of GIANTX in the Superliga. More than 150 fans gathered at the Malaga headquarters of the giants to support their players and enjoy an event full of activities, raffles and videogames, crowned by a showmatch against the Barça Esports.
The Jeong Seong-hoon media ‘Feisty‘ (South Korea, 2003) and the shooter Berat TıknazoÄŸlu ‘Aetinoth‘ (Turkey, 2005) lead a GIANTX Pride that they joined a year ago. In this time they have become very important assets to the organization and have confirmed themselves as two of the most important talents to watch out for among those who are being trained in the regional leagues and have LEC potential, the European competition of which GIANTX is also a part.
The new faces are Lucas Piochaud ‘Badlulu‘ (France, 2002), Hakan Mert Çakmak ‘Ferret‘ (Turkey, 2001) and Park Joon-hyeong ‘Lospa‘ (South Korea, 2002). Badlulu, who occupies the position of ‘toplaner’, has experience in Superliga after his stint with CASE Esports. Ferret, a jungler, is a promising Turkish LoL player and comes from FUT. At the head of the coaching staff will be JosĂ© Miguel Pinto Lima dos Santos ‘…Fearless‘. The Portuguese coach has raised up to three Superliga trophies with GIANTX, either as head coach or assistant coach. Fearless is one of the most renowned coaches on the Spanish scene. After a first three-and-a-half-year stint with the Malagueño club, he has gone on to work for Guasoneswhich he put in a final, and Rebels.
GIANTX Pride, formerly Giants, has seven Super League trophies in its trophy cabinet and is the most successful organization in the national championship. An eighth title is elusive: the last victory dates back to the summer of 2021. Also fighting for the crown Barça Esports, Guasones, Los Heretics, LUA Gaming, Movistar KOI, Ramboot Club, UCAM Esports, VENI VIDI VICI and ZETA. These ten teams make up the list of Superliga participants.
