It seems that every few weeks, new images of the Galaxy S23 models hit the internet, and the latest ones reveal the four colors in which Samsung’s new flagships will be available. It looks like the design we’ve seen in several previous leaks will be the final one, with the back cover lacking an island to frame the cameras. In the case of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the differences from the previous generation are minor.
Galaxy S23 series design confirmed again in leaked images
FMKorea has published high-resolution images of the new Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra models. The Galaxy S23+ model is not shown in the images, but its design will be similar to that of the base model, except that it will have a slightly larger body, as we have become accustomed to from many generations of Samsung smartphones.
The Galaxy S23 and S23+ will each integrate three cameras on the back and have a subtle LED flash positioned next to the top camera. Each individual camera has a metal ring around the lens, similar to what we saw on the Galaxy S22 Ultra in 2022. The four colors Samsung is using for the new series seem to be pretty “boring”, without a more special color like last year’s Burgundy Red or the purple with gold accents. So we have some sort of yellow/gold, a faded pink, a green-grey and black as options. All the colours are matte, so they’ll probably provide some grip for the phone too.
In the case of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, it looks like we’re seeing new colors for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, as the phone is largely identical. It is again equipped with four cameras, two of which are for zoom, a flash and a 3D TOF laser focus system. The colors are the same as on the base models.
This doesn’t mean Samsung won’t release other color variants, just that we’re currently seeing these in leaks. Previously, some more special variants could be ordered exclusively from Samsung’s website.
