Forza Motorsport could possibly launch in summer – That’s Gaming

When Microsoft showed Forza Motorsport during the Xbox Games Showcase last June, it said the racing simulator would launch in spring 2023, although that seemed increasingly unlikely as time passed. When the title was shown again during the Developer_Direct showcase earlier this year, it was given no concrete release date, with Microsoft and developer Turn 10 Studios only giving a vague window of 2023 – although it looks like they may now be looking to clarify it.

The official Microsoft Game Dev account on Twitter seems to hint at a summer launch of Forza Motorsport. Alan Hartman, the head of Turn 10’s studio, recently posted a rather innocuous Forza-related tweet, and interestingly enough, the Microsoft Game Dev Twitter account responded by asking, “Who else is ready for summer?”

Of course, if Forza Motorsport does indeed have a summer launch planned, it will be interesting to see when Microsoft will put it in the calendar, especially considering Starfield comes out in September. Regardless, Turn 10 recently confirmed that the racing simulator is in the final stages of development, so it seems it is nearing the finish line of its production cycle.

The Xbox Games Showcase is scheduled in just over a month, and it’s entirely possible that Microsoft will reveal more official details about Forza Motorsport during the event, so stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.
