Indie publisher Spiral Up Games has announced that their long-awaited prison RPG Back to the Dawn is coming out of Steam Early Access on July 18, with 15% off in the first week.
Back to the Dawn, an immersive prison-escape simulation, puts players in the shoes of Thomas the Fox, an investigative journalist who is framed and incarcerated for getting too close to the truth of a government conspiracy. Entering a heavily guarded prison, potential escapees discover a world where each inmate has a past, a personality and a plan. Fighting to survive, investigating and ultimately escaping is what it’s all about, or staying locked up forever when time runs out to escape.
In the full release of Back to the Dawn, players experience the all-new Black Panther storyline, which introduces Bob the Black Panther, an undercover agent, and adds multiple new missions and areas to Boulderton Prison. With a dark tone, morally gray dilemmas and unforgettable scenes, the Black Panther Arc renews Back to the Dawn and offers players, both newcomers and returning players, a great, new story to experience.
Building on what is already a critically acclaimed Steam release (92% positive), this new storyline currently offers players an immersive role-playing journey that combines vibrant pixel art with an exciting and thrilling simulation of prison life. Players play as an unjustly imprisoned journalist and must brave the twists and turns of prison politics while developing essential skills for their daring escape.
