ETH Base’s layer2 mainnet opens up to developers

The main network from L2 Ethereum supported by Coinbase is now available at at developers. Base plans to welcome users from next month.

In a blog post published Thursday, Base has announced the opening of its mainnet at developers .

Developers who first join the L2 unveiled earlier this year by Coinbase will receive an NFT “Genesis Builder” designed by artist Klara Vollstaedt as a thank-you gift.

Base makes available various tools for developers such as wallet infrastructures (Safe Wallet), block explorers (Basescan and Blockscout), data indexers (The Graph) and development platforms (Thirdweb).

The Layer 2 solution dedicated to Ethereum and powered by Optimism’s OP stack also provides access to node providers Blockdaemon, Blast and QuickNode.

The opening of mainnet to the public from layer2which was previously announced for 2023 without any further details, should take place very soon. coming soon.
