Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 4 returns to the series’ roots in many ways, embracing customization and build variety on a larger scale. We’ve already seen some of this in the open beta, but the rest of the game promises even more. A new video discusses the five different classes, the character creation system and Paragon Boards for endgame, but also goes into more detail about making your character unique.
Some examples include legendary and unique items. The former offers powerful effects that you can extract and place on others. As for unique items, they always have the same effect, with the disadvantage of being more powerful. Paragon Boards offer statistic enhancements and rare and legendary nodes with unique powers and bonuses.
It’s a lot to take in, and crafting is an important part of the experience from start to finish. Diablo 4 launches June 6 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. If you missed the open beta, a Server Slam is scheduled from May 12 to 14, offering access to the same content and a level cap of 20.
