SelectaPlay and the talented (and slightly deranged) minds at Hungry Pixel are excited (and a little concerned) to release the free PC demo of NetherWorld Let loose – the twisted, alcohol-soaked, worm-infested and shamelessly unhinged 2D action-adventure game with a dark story. Now available on Steam for anyone brave or reckless enough to give it a try!
Step into the tentacles of Medoo, the world’s saddest jellyfish, just dumped and fully committed to self-destruction via vodka and bad life choices. Dive into a grubby fever dream full of grotesque characters, shady deals and nightmarish nightlife experiences as you explore a world where dignity dies – and take a few more shots along the way.
Warning: this demo contains scenes of surreal depravity, questionable fashion choices and emotional damage (especially to Medoo, possibly to you as well). But hey, maybe you’ll find a cool hat.
NetherWorld will appear digitally on PC via Steam and on the Nintendo Switch later in 2025. There will also be a special physical edition for the Switch, because even the most derailed adventures deserve a place in the closet. Pre-orders for the physical Switch version are now open. Add us to your wishlist on Steam – otherwise Medoo will have to cry again. Again.
