Cadabra: Canon unveils NFT marketplace

Canon USAthe American branch of the Japanese group specialized in cameras, will launch Cadabraa NFT marketplace for fans of photography.

The famous brand of SLR cameras Canon announced the upcoming release of a market place which will propose a “ selection of digital art (NFT) from innovative creators “.

The Cadabra Marketplace aims to empower creators by connecting them with enthusiastic collectors who celebrate the art of photography through a shared appreciation of these digital works of art,” the company says.

Canon will organize NFT drops but will also offer the ability to resell tokens on its platform, access to which will initially be restricted to those residing in the United States. Cadabra will also allow artists to propose photographs in physical format.

Canon had already put a foot in the NFT ecosystem with the mint of a series of non-fungible tokens on Solana in the summer of 2022.
