BattleJuice Alchemist gets turned into action – That’s Gaming

ESDigital Games and developer Alchemical Works are pleased to reveal that their action-adventure RPG title BattleJuice Alchemist is coming to PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

BattleJuice Alchemist is a complex alchemy RPG that adds an equipment-based skill system to the classic aRPG formula. Focus on battles from above or opt for one-on-one JRPG-style combat. Explore the wilderness, learn ritual magic and create potions to fight demonic hordes sweeping the lands.

Juice, the alchemist, is called to Caribou Creek to fight the demons roaming the lands. As your unique version of Juice, you will explore the wilderness that was once New England. Fight evil in classic action-RPG isometric top-down view and bullet-time close-combat.

Find and create items with game-changing powers. Master the deckbuilding mechanics of BattleJuice Alchemist by arranging your compilation of cobs to suit your play style. Accentuate your character beyond character customization by using ritual magic as long-term enhancements. Encounter strange creatures of the Crossroads as the dark plot of BattleJuice Alchemist unravels.

UNIQUE ITEMS AND CHARACTER BUILDINGS
Loot and Craft: As an alchemist, you don’t wear armor and wield a sword, but rain fire on your enemies. Find flasks with unique properties in the wilderness or create them on your workbench. When building decks, you create a compilation of flasks from which you randomly draw.

Unique skill system: In BattleJuice Alchemist, your flasks are your skills. Each flask can be used in the normal way and sometimes in a supercharged, “jucified” way for stronger effects. Some flasks have powers attached to them that drastically change their effects when used, allowing you to develop your own play style.

DISCOVER A DARK WORLD
Procedural landscapes, handmade cities: the world of BattleJuice Alchemist is divided into huge levels of procedural landscape. Each valley, sea, river, mountain, building, stone, tree and item is placed by a unique algorithm. This allows you to continue exploring after you complete the main story. Quest locations are still handcrafted to tell compelling stories.

Dark lands to explore: You are affected by the influences of the day and the weather, and so are your enemies. But they are also polished by the presence of more and more demons. Find dark altars to keep their influence at bay and discover many other secrets.

BEGINNING BATTLES
Classic isometric ARPG action: fight your enemies from afar in a classic top-down view. Throw explosive or ice-cold flasks at them, prepare ambushes with explosive barrels. Use the “Frog Hop” flask to jump away from danger or directly into close combat.

Close Combat with Bullet-time: engage in close combat with an enemy, where you can communicate hands-on by dodging or using smoke bottles to avoid getting hit. Manage your resources and cobs during these intense one-on-one battles against your awesome enemies of the Crossroads.
