Apple has been working with Windows for about a year to officially release the Apple TV, Apple Music and Apple Devices apps on PCs. Until now, those apps had launched as previews, but now that tag is being removed.
This also means the end of iTunes on PC, as Apple now only requires you to use that app on PC for audiobooks and podcasts. For everything else, you have to use one of these newer apps.
iCloud photo integration is also coming to Windows, allowing PC users to access their photos, videos, etc. while using a PC. This seems to be the beginning of a more blossoming relationship between Apple software and PCs.
Thanks, The Verge.
