Lego is already in the Comic-Con spirit, as while the annual event begins today, the Danish company has already announced a pair of new sets that will make their debut later this year.
All of these sets are part of the Star Wars theme, with a few even aligned with the Ahsoka Disney + series, which kicks off in late August. As for what Lego will serve up to fans, builders can look forward to new spaceships and even a detailed Chewbacca model.
The Ahsoka collections revolve around Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle and the New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter collections. Both sets come with an array of minifigures, with Ahsoka’s ship even featuring minifigures of the Jedi Knight and her ally, Sabine Wren.
As for the Chewbacca building set, this is a 2,000-piece set that is 18 inches long and seems to capture the likeness of the Wookie from Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. This set even includes a model of Chewy’s iconic Bowcaster weapon.
As for prices for each set, Ahsoka’s ship clocks in at £64.99 / €74.99, the starfighters are £94.99 / €104.99 and Chewbacca is £179.99 / €209.99, with all three debuting on Sept. 1, 2023.
