In a few weeks, the United Kingdom will officially have a new king, when the reign of King Charles begins after the coronation on May 6. While it is impossible to forget that this day is coming up in the United Kingdom because everywhere you turn there is some form of memorabilia marking it, a number of chocolatiers have decided to mark the moment in their own way.
And they’ve done just that by creating a life-size bust of King Charles made from 17 liters of melted Celebrations chocolate. As Sky News reports, the bust weighs a whopping 23 kg and took four weeks to make, and uses various Celebrations chocolates as embellishment accents, such as Twix, Milky Way, Galaxy and Bounty which all form the monarch’s beautiful shoulder pieces.
It is said that the entire creation required about 2,875 individual melted Celebrations, and the end result is amazingly accurate.
